  5. Lorraine H says:

I would go to all my palaces and have a private tour of all the places I couldn’t go into as a member of the public. I could open a display case and take out an antique that only staff are allowed to touch. Then after trying on a few of the crown jewels, it’s back to buckingham palace for an afternoon garden party, followed be a banquet in the evening.
Also I would have The group Take That to entertain me afterward. A lot to fit in, but I would certainly give it my best!

    Hi Nicola!

If I were queen for the day the first thing I would have to do is travel to another country to be able to be a Queen!

My first choice would be England especially since my mother looks exactly like Queen Elizabeth. I am from English ancestry but she’s such a wonderful Queen instead I’d look for a small country in need of a benevolent leader where I could help those struggling in these tough economic times.

How wonderful it would be to be able to make a positive difference is people lives! My motto would be “each each, reach one” and the best thing is that no one needs to be a Queen to do that right now were ever they live!

    • Nicola says:

What a lovely idea, Jeanne! Maybe as you have English ancestry and your mother looks like the Queen, you may be related? You might find yourself with your own country after all!

  18. Na S. says:

If I was Queen for a day I would love to visit an isolated island. There would be food and security, of course but also peace. I can rellax and take in nature.

  19. Jennifer says:

I would have my sister come to the castle and we would have a proper tea with scones her favorite not mine! Then we would have all our kids and husbands and go for a carriage rides. Then my five year old daughter would get to play dress up for hours in all of “my” finery! Jewels included of course. Then its off to the stables to feed the horses and all of the animals that we would naturally have! Dinner would be so fun no electricity only candles and live music. Oh the possibilities!!!

    • Nicola says:

Wow, Jennifer, what an amazing day you have planned. I love that your daughter could be Princess for the day whilst you were Queen. I bet they do great scones at the palace!

  20. Pawnbrokers says:

I love that you would give everyone an extra holiday. Great idea!
