I hope you get to visit, Carol. There are so many wonderful places to see and go, from the scenery of the Highlands to all the wonderful castles and of course the city of Edinburgh itself. I’m glad people enjoy the posts because there will be a whole lot more Scottish-themed posts from me next year when my new Scottish set trilogy comes out!

Yes, it really was a hidden gem, Lorraine. I like that they now let you take photos in lots more stately homes and old buildings. I find it really useful for future reference as I can’t remember the detail when I’ve left!
